Get to the CORE of it

Having a six pack is more than just vanity. Of course having a solid core is nice but the benefits far outweigh the visual aspect of them. Developing your core’s strength is crucial for balance, sports performance, overall posture and can drastically improve lower back pain. Your abdominal muscles stabilize your lower back. When they become weak, the strain and stress on your lower back increases. Strong abdominal muscles also prevent you from slouching or having bad posture which can also lead to back strain and injury. The stronger your mid section becomes, the better your balance and overall posture will be. You will stand taller, feel leaner and be more agile. Not only will you stand taller, but according to the Mayo Clinic’s studies, working out your core daily can also help you to live longer. Washboard abs AND a long life? Sounds like win win!
